The System Administrator (Microsoft Specialist) main responsibilities are to perform the proper management of accounts and objects within Windows Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange systems, act as an expert on the matter and respond to most requests pertaining to accounts or email services. He will actively participate in projects regarding Active Directory, email systems, SSO infrastructure and usability of information across various platforms. The individual will be accountable for the health of the systems under his responsibility, will be available 24x7 in case of emergency or critical issues and will produce documentation as required per audits or organizational requirements.
More specifically, the person will be required to:
Perform tasks related to the operation, servicing, troubleshooting and account administration of Active Directory and Exchange
Maintain information in Active Directory and Exchange up to date
Participate and facilitate the consolidation/migration of AD or email infrastructures (current or future acquisitions)
Create and document processes regarding the administration or use of Active Directory/Exchange systems
Produce documentation as required per SOX or security audits/controls
Insure the availability and performance of the systems under his responsibility
Troubleshoot accounts or email related issues reported by users
Assist other team members in their work when needed
REQUIRED
Minimum 5 years of pertinent experience on MS Active Directory and MS Exchange
Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP, MCSE, MCSA, etc…)
Solid knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange 2010/2013
Strong skills and experience with Microsoft Powershell and scripting
Extensive knowledge and understanding of emails protocols and anti-spam mechanisms/systems
Experience in MS Windows Servers management
Capacity of supporting MS Outlook configurations
ASSETS
MS Lync environment management and/or deployment
Extensive comprehension and experience of Windows file sharing securities
Windows DNS and DHCP
Certificate Services and mechanisms
Windows Group Policy based securities and deployments
SAML Single Sign-On deployment experience
VMWare management experience
Experience in using ticket tracking software
Interests and generic skills
Pay attention to details
Dynamism and proactivity
Thorough in communications and follow-ups
Comfortable with repetitive work
Excellent organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities
Customer service oriented and ease in communications with clients
Fluent in French/English, both oral and written
