Kforce has a client in San Jose, California (CA) that is seeking a Senior Java Developer. Responsibilities: * Write, modify, and debug software for client applications * Use source debuggers and visual development environments * Test and document software for client applications * Write code to create single-threaded, multi-threaded or user interface event driven applications, either stand-alone and those which access servers or services
Required Skills
* Expert knowledge in building reusable frameworks for distributive computing * Core JAVA, especially in building framework (not using) using concurrent processing, multithreading in a multi-core environment * Fluent knowledge of Linux, security, TLS / SSL AIO/NIO JAVA Server Implementation along with experience in KAFKA, HADOOP / YARN and eco systems, STORM, SPARK, DOCKER, MARATHON, MESOS, ZOOKEEPER, JDK8 / LAMBDA, networking, message brokers, load bal / sharing * Experience with Open Source (or similar) * Experience with Design Patterns * Experience with Core Programming * Experience with Analytics and Big Data Programming
• Platform Developer. Smart Developers needed.
• Solving problems
• Building Core Java w/ Huge Distributed network. Core Java. JDK 1.8, LAMBDA, system development.
• Be able to write code, multi core, multi threading, collection API.
• Take problem and turn into solutions/code
• Not a Java/Spring/MVC developer
• Best Practice code writing, multi core.
• Collaborate/communicate with team effectively for team work
• Commands/Controls we have to build for Multi DC's – Insert logic in RealTime, update SW in RealTime etc. All needs to be developed for other developers to use Platform. Our product is not end products. Tool for others.
• We can train and learn the Kafka/Hadoop exp.
• Must meet every deadline in the sprints.
• Team Size: 4 developers now. Outsourced UI to outside Firm.
• Must have Java/Core java Multi – threading experience.
• Practical coding test.
• Open to more Jr candidates that are smart that can pick up quickly.
• Top 3 skills:
1. Write code on the fly – Java. Based on business logic requirements from meetings.
2. Solving problems as we get them. Design patterns
3. CORE JAVA. Collection API. Pick up spec and write Code. Design following design Patterns.
4. Re usable code
