[KITlist-Tech] Senior iOS Engineer (San Francisco, California)

We are seeking an iOS engineer to work on the mobile application that our customers will use every day to operate their August lock. You will work closely with world class designers, firmware engineers, and server-side API developers to create a beautiful and integrated experience on the iPhone and iPad. 

On any given day, you could be hacking on the iOS CoreBluetooth stack to make the lock respond to your commands, or designing social features that enable our users to share access to their home with friends and family. We are looking for a passionate developer who wants to live on the bleeding edge of technology that brings software and hardware together in the connected home.

Responsibilities

-Architect, develop, and unit test the August iOS application
-Interface with firmware running on the August lock
-Interface with server-side APIs
-Architect and develop an iOS SDK for partner integrations with our product

Requirements

-Strong development skills in Objective C and the Cocoa framework
-An app that you have launched and is available on the app store
-Strong general development skills
-Experience using REST APIs in an iOS context

Even Better

-Experience with the iOS CoreBluetooth stack
-Open source contributions
-Experience working with hardware or home automation devices
-Experience developing libraries that are in use by third party developers
