Amick Brown is looking for a suitable candidate to fill a broadband engineer contract position with a large telecommunications/ISP Company. Responsibilities will include system configuration, system upgrades, troubleshooting DSL and PON related issues and other technical support.

Required Skills and Experience:
�Experience in xDSL or xPON

Desired Experience
� Experience in CLI TL1 (Desirable )
�Experience in Perl programing (Moderate)
�Experience with Alcatel-lucent 7330, 7340 and 7342 (Desirable )
�Experience with Alcatel-lucent AMS (Access Management system)
�(OR) Experience with Adtran AOE
�Experience in Layer 1 Layer2 with DSL technologies(Moderate)
�Experience in Element Management Systems
�Experience in Lab environments such as environment setup for a test-beds , QA testing and troubleshoot network operation issues
�Basic understanding in Layer 3 multicast

Advantages
�Experience with Ericson BLM1500 and Genband G6
�Experience with Adtran access devices i.e. TA 500x family
�Experience with test equipment's i.e. JDSU VDSL2 test sets
�Experience in gr303 protocols
�Experience with the T1 and E1
�Experience with the Spirent Abacus test systems
