Position Summary
Xangati, a cloud performance management startup, is looking for a seasoned and passionate UI Designer for Java UI who can help with its extensive set of current and future dashboards and associated user interface elements focused on real-time technical data visualization.
Essential Job Functions
� UX for Java-based UI.
� Dashboard layout and elements.
� Interaction design.
� Live and continuous visualization.
� Presentation of technical data.
� Wire-framing and mockup tools and techniques.
� Working closely and effectively with both engineering and product management.
� Able to dialogue effectively with front- and back-end developers.
� Usability testing and use-case based design.
� Able to understand problems in a complex technical domain (cloud performance).
Required Skills/Qualifications
� At least three years, but preferably five years of relevant experience.
� A college-level degree (Bachelor or Master) focused on UI design or related fields with a solid grasp of technical data visualization.
� Must have experience with early-stage start-up organizations.
� Possess strong communication skills.
This position is based in San Jose, CA.
This is a UI design position, not a UI programming position.
