Engineering Project Manager needed for long term project work for large Client Company.
**Due to the nature of the interview process, local candidates with local experience preferred (Local = San Francisco Bay Area)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver customer data quality projects with various scale and complexity.
- Responsible for streamlining and managing multiple projects using Scrum and Agile software development.
- Project management of applications expansion and road map.
- Formulate and execute project plans, and work with cross-functional Engineering and Business teams.
- Manage scope, schedule, deliverables, and resource allocation for multiple interwoven projects
- Collaborate with business and engineering teams on innovative solutions, requirements, scope, and project deliverables
- Effectively communicate project schedules and status to team members and project stakeholders.
- Proactively identify and communicate project issues and risks
- Drive project from concept to delivery.
Required Skills/Experience:
- 8+ years of combined experience of hands on software development and project management.
- 5+ years of business and data analysis experience with emphasis on complex customer data quality projects
- Self-motivated, proactive individual, comfortable working in fast paced environment.
- Excellent project management experience: planning, scheduling, project communication, issue resolution, change management, and risk management.
- Managed Web/Ecommerce development project (Java/J2EE, Web UI, Oracle and UNIX)
- Extensive experience in managing full life cycle projects with at least 10-12 month duration.
- Ability to manage the cross functional team consisting of developers, vendors, and business users.
- Solid Experience in implementing enterprise wide, custom applications with global teams.
- Prior experience with Ecommerce/retail background preferred
- Certification in Project Management and Agile framework.
- BS ME/EE/CE degree or equivalent.
