Project Manager (Operations) needed for long term project work for Fortune 500 Client Company. Client Company is stable, public, and growing.

**Due to the nature of the interview process, local candidates with local experience only please (Local = San Francisco Bay Area)

Responsibilities:

* Lead the Global IT NOC team based in the Bay Area. Responsible for 24x7 operations and maintenance of web/internet systems and command center operations.

* Lead staff of website/systems engineers (work schedule, performance management, coaching, skill development)

* Set and maintain operational requirements for development and engineering teams to transition services into production

* Participate in strategy and other planning activities with management

* Organizational planning and management – understand how business changes impact NOC services and proactively align NOC to deliver new needs

* Maintain service, process and tool roadmaps

* Interact with senior management and external groups for planning and budgeting purposes

* Define standards, policies, and procedures

* Work with technology teams in implementation of ITSM and other best practices

Qualifications:

* Demonstrated success as an Project Manager in Operations Management, and/or support function, with skills in motivation and cross-functional coordination

* Should have sufficient background in internet/website operations, network/systems engineering to communicate planning and operational issues

* Demonstrated strategic thinker with ability to implement strategy into action

* Ability to successfully deliver complex projects, covering all aspects from business case development to project planning and management

* Ability to successfully manage several initiatives simultaneously and prioritize effectively

* Ability to assess and manage all aspects of team performance

* Ability to produce and manage business strategy (vision, mission statements, values, goals)

* Ability to architect, assess and improve processes

* Experience with implementation of ITSM

* Ability to identify and manage risk to achieve expected outcomes

* Ability to work effectively with a variety of people (cultures, teams, technologies, skill levels)

* Ability to provide all aspects of related service management (design, delivery, tracking, reporting, assessment, improvement)

* Professional experience with ITSM or similar IT service management methodology

Required Experience / Education:

*At least 5 years of NOC/Operations management experience or equivalent

*A degree from a four-year college (i.e., BA,BS) or equivalent

Preferred Experience / Education:

* Global NOC/Operations management experience
