Senior Web JavaScript Developer needed for a long term project. Direct Client Project.

Senior Web JavaScript Developer who excels at creating client-side interactions using (X)HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ActionScript , jQuery, Python shell scripts to join a small team of developers responsible for front-end code on a large-scale corporate web site. This developer will report to the Marketing Manager and will support content authors and publishers worldwide.
Job duties include:
• Creating maintain JavaScript and .SWF plugins for use in online video players to deliver analytics, call-to-action overlays, as well as, player customization and responsive behavior.
• Creating and maintaining online tools for video support, self-service delivery and special projects.
• Writing and maintaining specifications and documentation necessary to support.
• Collaborating with user experience designers to determine specifications visual design.
• System and process support for our global clients.
Required:
• Must have extensive knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, shell scripts, Python and ActionScript.
• 5+ years of (X)HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. HTML5 and CSS3 a plus
• Knowledge of browser compatibility issues when using JavaScript and CSS
• Intimate knowledge of current web standards, including approaches to responsive web
• Insight on user experience specifications
• Requirements gathering and analysis skills
• Experience working with an enterprise level content management system
• Exceptional communication (verbal and written) skills
• BA/BS degree preferred and a minimum of 5 years of related experience in web interface development, development for marketing a plus
• Be a true self-starter, conscientious and proactive, with the ambition and vigor to integrate in a fast-moving and successful organization
• Candidate should possess outstanding organizational, follow up, prioritization, and communications skills
Preferred: Two or more of the following skill areas -
• Extensive knowledge of with JavaScript, jQuery, shell scripts, Python ActionScript
• HTML5 and CSS3 Experience
• Coding for mobile-first and responsive web designs
• Visual design (ability to create mockups in Photoshop)
• Interaction design (user flow diagrams and use cases)
• Writing and maintaining supporting documentation
• AJAX
• CVS, SVN, or Git
• Websphere portal server
• Localization
• Section 508 requirements
• Search engine optimization
• Performance / page-render optimization
