We're not "one of", we ARE the global leader in cloud services and the largest Microsoft Exchange hosting provider (www.intermedia.net). We´re adding new capabilities, and seek the Product Manager for Cloud Voice who will define and own the product line of hosted PBX, Telco, Conference Bridges, Fax via Email services for small and medium sized businesses.
We are looking for someone who has a technical background (BS undergrad) who has migrated in their career to a business ownership role (MBA preferred). You MUST have owned a telcom product in the hosted space.
Shorthand job description for what you will own:
• product vision, product strategy and product roadmap
• strategies, prices and product configurations
• building and evaluation of business cases
• strategic telecommunications vendor relationships
• key product metrics
• legal regulatory and compliance requirements
• cross functional team leadership
We're evaluating resumes based on this experience:
• 4+ years in a product management capacity involving Cloud Telephony services, including Hosted VoIP PBX, Conferencing, Online Fax and other related Telco services and technologies.
• Knowledge of the business-grade VOIP PBX market, products and competitive landscape, including technical proficiency with high volume number porting, e911 regulations, FCC, state and local regulations, understanding of VoIP technology – SIP protocol and SIP trunking, call origination & termination, PSTN gateways, VoIP PBX systems, billing systems and call accounting.
You must have start-up experience and be a fantastic communicator. Required to be onsite in Sunnyvale, California to work daily with the team. We prefer to not relocate.
