Location : Salt Lake City, UT
Duration : 6 months +
Reporting to the Director, Customer Service Solutions, this position will provide project management leadership for crucial customer service infrastructure projects. A key focus will be the Siebel tool suite implementation. The responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Conducting project kickoff meetings
• Leading project scoping effort
• Facilitating technical, operational and/or business requirements definition for product development tasks
• Developing detailed project plans and tracking progress against the plan
• Driving & managing projects through each phase of the project life-cycle
• Proactively managing issues/risks & engaging management when appropriate
• Communicating status to project stakeholders
• Providing leadership to cross-functional project team
This position will work closely with members of Product Management, Product Development, QA, CS Operations, vendors and Site Operations teams, as well as with all levels of management within the organization.
Job Requirements
(Knowledge, skills, abilities, experience required to perform job)
• BS/BA degree in related field required
• 5+ years experience in project management or
• Knowledge of project management software tools
• Hands-on experience with the day-to-day management of multiple software development projects and frequent product releases
• Demonstrated track record of successfully planning and managing larger-scale project implementations from start to finish
• Must have first hand experience with all stages of the product development life-cycle, from requirements gathering to release
• Minimum 2+ years experience working with software application development life-cycle, or web services development.
• Experience with managing OBI and other reporting projects
• Experience with managing global enterprise reporting projects
• Experience in Oracle/Sieble/OBI is a huge plus
• Strong communications skills and the ability to work well with other departments and varying levels of management.
• Ability to function effectively in a fast paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
