Medrio (www.medrio.com) an innovative pharmaceutical software company is seeking a Software Engineer in Test to join the engineering team in our San Francisco, CA headquarters. In this position you will be responsible for taking Medrio's Software Test operations to the next level by contributing to our test automation efforts. This is a hands-on technical role with the ideal candidate possessing previous experience coding both GUI and API level tests for a complex .NET application. This is a full‐time position located at our headquarters in San Francisco. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
• Help design and then implement a test automation framework enabling the testing portion of our overall continuous integration migration
• Tackle the challenge of a large quality debt backlog consisting of manual regression and legacy test cases
• Actively drive our overall automated testing strategy by continually suggesting areas of improvement and introducing opportunities for innovation
• Fully participate as an equal in the daily design and planning activities in which the Medrio product team engages
• Apply your passion for test and QA by acting as the "Voice of Quality" (VoQ) on our products, processes, and activities
• Respond quickly and efficiently to rapidly changing situations without losing sight of the long term strategic goals and vision
ESSENTIAL SUCCESS SKILLS:
• 3-5 years experience with .NET development (C# preferred)
• 2+ years experience designing and implementing programmatic test automation of web applications
• 1+ years experience testing highly configurable hosted web applications (SaaS preferred)
• Working knowledge of object oriented design principles and theory
• Solid grasp of the fundamentals of test case design and management
• Demonstrable experience performing independent estimation and task management activities
EXPERIENCE WITH/KNOWLEDGE OF ANY OF THE FOLLOWING WOULD BE A MAJOR PLUS:
• Experience working with (or managing) a continuous integration framework (ex: CruiseControl, Bamboo, TFS, etc.)
• Experience working within an agile development environment (ex: Scrum, kanban, XP, lean, etc.)
• Experience designing and managing performance testing of web applications
• Experience working in a regulated environment.
• Experience working in a small/startup collaborative work environment
