As a member of the Wind River IT applications team, the candidate is a key resource for managing and delivering web technology solutions to address business needs. This is a function role (60%) with web development and QA knowledge (40%) required. This requires excellent communication skills and an ability to speak to both technical developers and business users. The web applications span diverse business areas such as online customer support, search, support documentation, web content management and education services.
Responsibilities:
• Act as key liaison between the stakeholder and IT web team.
• Coordinate and manage project deliverables as well as day-to-day IT support operations
• Provide hands-on application support, managing and resolving user service requests
• Work closely with the internal technical team to solve application issues
• Collect business requirements; translate business requirements to functional and technical requirements
• Develop test plans and test scripts and execute regression tests
• Manage user acceptance testing
• Release planning including coordinating releases, user communications, coordination of training, change management
• Establish productive relationships with IT's major business partners
• Manage and coordinate support and smaller scale deliverables.
Requirements:
• BS in Computer Science/Information Technology preferred
• 4+ year of business analysis in a web application software environment
• 2+ years working experience with at least one of following programming language: J2EE, PHP, JavaScript, Perl.
• Experience with test automation tool for web application.
• Working knowledge of Oracle database languages such as SQL, PL/SQL
• Familiar with Linux/UNIX OS a must (scripting experience a plus)
• Ability to be a self-starter and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
