Role: Web Developer – Contractor Position
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Length: 12 months+
Benefits: C-to-C, 1099 or W2 with benefits
Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced PERL UI web developer (Contractor Position) to work onsite at a well known and established internet company (> 10,000+ employee) in its HQ location in Sunnyvale, California. S/he will be working as a key/lead developer, leveraging her/his skills in JavaScript, CSS, HTML and PERL, in a dynamic team environment.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
• 5+ years experience of web development
• Front-end engineering skills including JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, HTML, PERL
• Solid knowledge of PERL and able to code and debug existing script
• Proficiency in XML, JSON
• Customer-focused, react well to changes, work with teams and being able to multi-task on multiple products and projects.
• Self-starter, team player.
• Advanced trouble shooting skill
Preferable Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in computer or other related science or engineering
• Experience with JavaScript tamplating (mustache, handlebars)
• Back-end experience with Java
• Agile development environment experience a plus
