We are currently seeking a talented and highly motivated candidates with software project management experience with business intelligence offerings for this exciting opportunity:

Position: Project Manager

Location: Bay area, California(Mountain View/Palo Alto area)

Position description:

The Project Manager on the professional services team will work within the business intelligence implementation team, and will be responsible for identifying business requirements, requirements management, functional design, customer management and driving successful implementations for our customers.

Position responsibilities:

• The Project Manager owns the end to end implementation processes while managing relationships with the company's customers

• Provides leadership and expertise on best practices for business intelligence project implementation deliverables

• Provides guidance on project execution to customer project teams, including executive team members as needed

• Works collaboratively with customers, end-users, business analysts, data architects, and visualization designers to define the data requirements and structure for business intelligence applications

• Responsible for managing cost, schedule and performance for all aspects of requirements definition and project implementation activities

• Gathers requirements, writes functional and technical specification, and manages project plans

• Maintains project timelines and associated project deliverables

• Makes customers and their needs a primary focus by developing and sustaining productive customer relationships

Required skills:

• 5 years consulting experience with software implementations

• Working knowledge of specialized business intelligence tools and solution providers

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments

• Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)

• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment

• Experience conducting requirements analysis, meeting with business owners, and performing current state analysis

• Experience developing conceptual and technical designs, including the use of object-oriented analysis and design techniques

• Experience in recognizing business problems and recommending/developing solutions

• Excellent written, verbal and listening communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate information to all levels within the organization

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Project required

• Formal project management certification including PMP preferred but not a must

• Bachelor degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred
