Web Production Developer needed for long term project for a direct client project. <br /><br /> <br /><br /> Job Summary: <br /><br /> The primary responsibilities of this role include:<br /><br /> <br /><br /> Building marketing assets and product launch pages by transforming Photoshop comps from our Client's Design team into the mobile environment, using existing templates and new markdown layouts styled with CSS-like style sheets.<br /><br /> Working with the greater business team, delivering code that integrates easily into the content publishing environment.<br /><br /> Interfacing with the Mobile Engineering team to learn and help establish best practices, maintaining staging environment layouts and CSS using Subversion.<br /><br /> Communicating with cross-functional teams, understanding and refining user interface requirements, and clearly documenting the development process.<br /><br /> This position requires individuals who are self-motivated and comfortable dealing with ambiguity. We are a fun and hard-working team, looking for an organized, detail-oriented person to work on highly visible web pages.<br /><br /> <br /><br /> Qualifications:<br /><br /> Strong HTML and CSS skills — experience with CSS3 or mobile development is a plus<br /><br /> Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop<br /><br /> Ability to work efficiently under incredibly tight timelines and to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality<br /><br /> Exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize work<br /><br /> Adeptness at troubleshooting and quickly fixing development bugs<br /><br /> Strong teamwork and communication skills<br /><br /> Eagerness to learn and grow as the mobile platform matures<br /><br /> Incredible eye for detail<br /><br /> Passion for creating a great user experience and interaction<br /><br /> Understanding of performance and page weight optimization<br /><br /> Comprehension of the challenges of localizing/translating large-scale sites<br /><br /> Experience with content management systems and Subversion or similar file management systems<br /><br /> Minimum 3 years of experience in developing code for large-scale websites<br /><br /> B.S. / B.A. degree or equivalent work experience<br /><br />
