[KITlist-Tech] Business Analyst Opportunities (SF Bay Area & Los Angeles, CA)

Seeking Business Analysts for Lunexa, a dynamic collaborative boutique technology consulting firm with an emphasis on business intelligence, data warehousing, ETL and enterprise data integration. Opportunities within the consulting team both in San Francisco and Los Angeles.

This person will play a key role and will be accountable for conducting sophisticated analysis to support business initiatives. The role will be critical in delivering analysis and insights into performance and support the strategic direction of businesses through analytics, including help guide the development of new business initiatives and evaluating existing ones.

Responsibilities:

Manage business data reporting needs
Consistently create insightful reports that effectively synthesize and interpret data to present an accurate and clearly communicated story and recommendations
Develop complex financial models and KPI reporting to evaluate new and existing business initiatives, including evaluating ROI and profitability to optimize revenue
Perform quantitative analysis leveraging multiple and varied external and internal data sources, including sales, revenues, behavioral, industry, competitive, and consumer data
Analyze, synthesize, and interpret data from a variety of data sources, investigating, reconciling and explaining data differences to provide a complete picture
Build, manage, evaluate, and improve various re-occurring and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and analytics for various stakeholders
Partner closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand data needs, data resources including feeds and warehouses, and data processes
Partner closely with external vendors to manage projects and data requests as needed
Required Skills:

Exceptional quantitative analytical and problem solving skills
Must have outstanding attention to detail
Must be able analytically curious to explore and resolve data issues, to synthesize disparate data to mine and communicate not only data but insights
Excellent written skills and ability to present a story using data
Ability to work collaboratively with internal and stakeholders to identify needs and deliver analysis and reporting to meet these needs
Strong project management, multi-tasking and organizational skills are a must
Must have strong listening and communication skills
Must have ability to maintain strict confidentiality with privileged information, work well with others and handle a high-pressure environment
Make good, timely decisions in relatively fast-paced situations
Exceptional data analysis skills in Excel including ability to write macros, pivot tables, etc.
Strong experience with business intelligence tools including Business Objects and MicroStrategy
Experience / Education:

Minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience in data analysis, business planning
Experienced in data analysis including financial analysis of P&L, ROI, and generating program adoption and revenue forecasts
Bachelor´s Degree required, Master's Degree highly preferred
