About the Role: We´re seeking an experienced cross platform developer in test to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment. The candidate must possess excellent design, analytical and problem solving skills. The candidate should be an energetic self-starter who can learn new things quickly and lead projects to completion. You should have a demonstrated track record of developing test automation for both Windows and Linux applications and web applications.

Responsibilities:
• Participate in the full development life cycle, including developing test automation code for Windows and Linux products as well as web applications
• Developing test and debugging tools to aid development and customer support
• Participating in test driven development and test idea brainstorming
• Own the delivery of software development test suites and frameworks
• Own the management of the virtual and physical test beds and beta systems
• Work closely with product management, technical support, and other teams to get products to market quickly
• Rapidly fix bugs and solve pressing problems
• Contribute to Agile dev and design discussions

Education & Experience:
• Bachelor´s Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience shipping successful commercial software projects where you were a sole or lead developer in test
• In-depth knowledge of object-oriented development concepts, test-driven development, SOA and systems design.
• Expertise in programming languages for automating tests (C#, perl, python, ruby …)
• Extensive experience developing or testing networked Windows and Linux applications.
• Extensive experience developing or testing web applications.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Desirable, not required:
• Understanding of Active Directory internals is a plus.
• Experience with VMware tools and infrastructure for virtualization.
• Detailed understanding of how DNS works in the internet and in small to medium sized organizations.
