We are a design centric company – we value how our customers interact with our product and you will be responsible for designing and implementing the user interface for a brand new data processing system to detect advanced security threats using the latest stream processing and machine learning techniques. We want to be the leading edge in design for the security industry and you will be helping to create the face and brand of our UI.
You'll be architecting and implementing the user interface and middle tier of our service and you will be part of the foundation of our web engineering team. You will work with all parties in the company to define and provide a powerful yet simple and intuitive user interface that will be one of the key differentiators of the product. Exabeam understands the importance of our UI and we will be making an investment to make sure that we do things differently.<br /><br /><br /><br /> We need a strong software engineer who is passionate about building elegant, simple, and stick user interfaces to delight customers. You care about producing clean, elegant, maintainable, robust, well-tested code; you enjoy collaborating with others to come up collectively with a design so creative, so beautiful that your friends will be in utter awe of your work. You have experience with performance, scalability, and reliability issues of large 24x7 systems.
This position can be based in our satellite SoMa office in San Francisco, or at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA and required working in the office.
Responsibilities:
* Design and develop a rich user interface for a mission critical data <br /><br /><br /><br /> processing and analytics application using Web front-end technologies.<br /><br /><br /><br /> Requirements:<br /><br /><br /><br /> * Solid programming experience designing and writing well organized, clean, and extensible code<br /><br /><br /><br /> * Experience with modern front-end technologies that build Rich Internet Applications <br /><br /><br /><br /> using JavaScript, CSS, HTML5<br /><br /><br /><br /> * Experience (ideally) using JQuery, backbone.js, underscore.js
