We are looking for a Network Engineer to ensure our clients have continuous and exemplary connectivity and security. You will work directly with clients to support WAN and LAN projects. You will be part of a team that is responsible for designing, developing and supporting scalable, maintainable, highly available network architectures that meet business objectives and SLAs.
Responsibilities:
• Install and support LANs WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems
• Install and maintain network hardware and software
• Analyze and isolate issues
• Monitor networks to ensure security and availability to all users
• Evaluate and modify system���s performance
• Own the full stack of connection from layer 1 to layer 7
• Identify user needs
• Determine network and system requirements
• Maintain integrity of the network and security
• Ensure network connectivity throughout a company���s LAN/WAN infrastructure is on par with technical considerations
• Maintain network services such as DNS, VPN, and DHCP.
• Design and maintain all systems related to networking from desktop / laptop connectivity to adding VOIP systems, inter-office connectivity and more
What you bring:
• 4+ years of experience
• B.S. degree or equivalent in Computer Science or IT related field
• DHCP and DNS configuration and management
• Firewall configuration and management
• Complete understanding of layer 1 to layer 7 networking
• Cisco or similar network OS configuration and management
• Experience with Network Management Systems
• Linux, OSX and Windows basic admin knowledge a plus
• Experience with SCADA/ICS a plus.
