Software Engineer, C++ Application Development / Audio Products / Boulder, CO

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our client is a Global Audio company who makes many audio products, as well as a few telephony products. They are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Software Engineer to work with an experienced team of software engineers and product management to develop cutting-edge digital audio products. This position is based in Boulder, Colorado.
Specific Duties include:
Envision, design, and develop world-class software in the pro audio industry.
Apply good software design and development practices in daily activities.
Work with Software Quality Assurance to develop appropriate test strategies.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of hands on coding experience with large C/C++ code bases.
Experience with TCP/IP, UDP/IP, HTTP control APIs.
Strong working knowledge of MS Windows and/or Linux software development environments.
Excellent SW design, engineering, implementation, coding, debugging, and build release skills.
Passionate, persistent, creative - you find solutions to difficult problems and clever ways to work around them when necessary.
Excellent problem-solving, verbal and written communication, design, development, and debugging skills.
Ability to work independently and in groups to effectively participate in the software development life cycle.
DESIRED SKILLS:
Experience with control of commercial AV products preferred.
Familiarity with professional audio products and systems preferred.
