GUI Software Engineer / Audio Products / Boulder, CO

Our client is a Global Audio company that makes many audio and video products, as well as a few telephony and SW products. We seek an experienced and self-motivated GUI Software Engineer to work with a team of software, firmware, and hardware engineers developing cutting-edge digital audio products. The successful candidate will have an emphasis in GUI design and development. They will be passionate, persistent and creative, finding solutions to difficult problems and work arounds if necessary. They will have authored a graphical user interface that can be demonstrated. This position is based in Boulder, Colorado.
This role includes:
Developing world-class software within the pro audio industry with a small team in which your work will have a large impact.
Working with Software Quality Assurance to develop appropriate test strategies.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Required Skills:
B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering
3 or more years software development experience.
Excellent SW design, engineering, coding, debugging, build and release skills.
Experience with Microsoft .NET framework
Experience with C#
Experience with WPF/XAML. (Microsoft Windows Presentation Foundation)
Solid working knowledge of MS Windows software development environments.
Experience in software usability, user experience, graphic design.
Author of a demonstrable graphical user interface (we want to see some work you are proud of!)
Passionate, persistent, creative--you find solutions to difficult problems and clever ways to work around them when necessary.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Must be self-motivated in order to achieve assigned objectives with minimal supervision.
Job Desired Skills:
Experience with iOS development is a PLUS
Experience with Qt and/or Android and/or HTML is a PLUS.
Working knowledge of Xcode and/or Linux software development environments is a PLUS.
UX and graphic desgin experience is a PLUS.
Familiarity with professional audio products and systems.
Experience with audio and A/V applications a PLUS.
Musicians or otheractive interest in music/audio.
