Our client is the leading provider of innovative, high quality audio transducers and loudspeaker systems for automotive, consumer and professional audio applications. The company offers an innovative range of products and solutions unmatched in the industry.

In order to develop their products, they have a multicultural team of both Western and Asian Engineers permanently located in China. Due to the rapid growth of the company, they are looking to expand their engineering team by adding highly talented and practical electronics systems engineers. Developing products for the worlds leading audio brands, this position offers a challenging and interesting experience both professionally and culturally.

Specific Duties/Responsibilities include:

The Lead Loudspeaker Systems Engineer is responsible for developing specific product ranges of high quality audio products from concept through to production for some of the worlds leading high end brands.

He or she should posses the following core competencies:

Interface between customers and Company development team

Program management of audio systems development

Design and specification of electronic or audio systems

Problem solving and product trouble shooting

Manage the development of electronic or audio systems with inter-disciplinary team work approach

Project related task management of supporting engineers

The lead systems engineer will exhibit good working knowledge of electrical or audio design, design for cost and design for manufacture. They will also have significant working experience with the introduction of new electronic or audio products to production.

The lead systems engineer must understand the fundamental requirements of the product design. A central objective is to achieve long term customer loyalty through exceptional product develop and to ensure a long-term business relationship by being efficient, technically competent and responsive.

Job Required Skills:

5 or more years of electronics or audio product development experience

Degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering or Acoustics or extensive high level technical or process experience

Experience with NPI process an asset

Experience with wireless audio product development an asset

Excellent communication skills

Fluency in English

Mandarin desired – not required

Excellent teamwork in a dynamic project environment

Keen to develop product design skills working with a team of talented group of acoustic and electronic engineers.
