Encore Fellowships match US citizens, typically 50+, nearing or in retirement, with opportunities to transfer their professional skills to the nonprofit sector. Fellowships are 1000 hours, typically part-time for a year, and come with a $25K stipend, education and networking.


A SF Bay Area nonprofit working on hunger and food distribution needs:

Events Project Manager to manage others coordinating donor cultivation activities for very large donors. This is a start of a large capital campaign. Must have events planning and execution experience.

The person would coordinate scheduling of tours, dinner parties, and coordinate people and activities.

$25K for 1000 hours, 20 hours/week for 12 months
