Title: Web Analyst (Metrics)
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 6 mos+

Experis has a Web Analyst position requiring the following skills:

- 10+ yrs of professional experience with extensive background in Data/Web Analytics
- Experience in search relevancy tuning, Log analysis (Search, Web, CMS), Data Classification, Thesauri Creation, Ontology/Taxonomy Management, Semantics, Statistics
- Experience with the following Standards: RDF, SIOC, DITA, SKOS, OWL
- Experience with the following Search Systems: Solr, FAST, Elastic Search, Lucid, Google Enterprise Appliance
- Good knowledge in Analytics: Splunk, Data Visualization and Communication
- Preferred Degree: Library Science or Information Science, Statistics, Anthropology, Philosophy, Biology, Human Computer Interaction

Tasks:
- Review search metrics, cms metrics, and web analytics to identify opportunities to measure, and improve relevancy
- Identify, and maintain variables that contribute to relevancy (synonyms, facets, top urls, zero hits, abandonment, etc)
- Create and maintain taxonomies for key areas (tools, hr policies)
- Partner with business teams on identification, and maintenance
- Strong communication & organization skills is a MUST.
