Experis IT Professional is looking for the SME Lab Designer with the below required skills.

Title: Systems/Network Architect (SME Lab Designer)
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 6+ months (with quarterly renewal)

Subject matter expert responsible for designing and building Borderless Network hands on labs for field SE training. The individual will need to collaborate with field C/SE´s to develop winning and innovative labs by leveraging technical expertise and depth in the area of specialization and adjacent technologies. SME will be responsible for providing a consultative approach to understanding the field´s solution and technical requirements within architectural domain, including an advanced knowledge of the competitive landscape and design, configure BoM and building these into lab opportunities.
The labs should focus on in depth technical requirements, competitive advantages, product limitations, and overall architectural solutions. Build collaborative relationships with Account Team internally, and various technology and business groups within the company to collaboratively shape solution development in specialty. Promote new and innovative approaches to addressing business challenges and problems.

Required Skills:
- BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent and 10+ years-related experience in both Field and Training Experience
- Pre-Sales experience required
- CCIE/ MCSE Cert. highly preferred - (CCSP, CCNP, CCIE Security and CCIE R&S).
- Must demonstrate industry awareness and should be current on relevant competitive products, solutions, and sales strategies.
- Continuous self-development is required to remain current with evolving technology and how to sell it, both with new technology developments and company acquisitions.
- Interpersonal skills, teamwork/team-building skills and the ability to train/teach are a must.
- Adept at Microsoft Windows, Word, and PowerPoint to edit courseware when quick updates are required.
- Time and project management skills are required.
- Strong Routing & Switching and Security knowledge
- Extensive experience with networking technologies (emphasis on route-switch, wireless and security) and the ability to understand and articulate the Borderless Network Architectural play.
- Must have the ability to design labs that explain business benefits of architectural play (end-to-end) in a way that is relevant to field sales so that they can in turn deliver it to customer business and technical decision makers.
- Extensive experience with VMware
- Participate in company technical leadership efforts in assigned areas of specialization and helps drive content for Virtual Team meetings.
- Excellent oral communication, presentation, listening, and consultative skills with proven ability to transfer technical and business knowledge.

Desired Skills:
- Develop and maintain close working relationships with Business Units, Technology Groups, and Training Groups to create and/or customize training material.
- Provide technical review of additional courses at the request of other course developers and program managers.
- Some level of Borderless Network Architecture knowledge and understanding
- Experience modifying content to suit particular audience, delivery vehicle or style.
- Experience using different delivery vehicles/styles to deliver education i.e. Live, Live On-Line, Video broadcast, Recorded, Classroom Style, collaborative Style, etc.
- Willingness to investigate and use new tools, methods, and processes for content development.
- Ability to work independently.

- High Availability Design/Knowledge
