Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities:

- Ownership of test processes and automation tooling.

- Work with Development and Product Management teams to define test cases.

- Use test automation tools and manual testing to execute test plans and identify defects prior to release.

- Where appropriate, automate testing by programming test scripts that can be easily executed and reused.

- Work with Customer Success to reproduce defects reported by customers.

- Effectively use an issue tracking system.

- Advise Product and Development team members on quality concerns and support them in improving design and development practices.

- Vocal participation in design reviews, technical specification reviews, and test plan reviews with an eye for dependencies and corner cases and the ability to influence and contribute significantly to feature design.

- Contribute to evolution of our product development process.

- Participate in customer deployments, helping to configure the product and verify functional requirements.

General Skills:

- B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent work experience.

- Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Proven leadership, prioritization, and analytical skills.

- Service focused, impact driven.

- Proven ability to identify and drive solutions to quality issues and concerns.

Technical Skills:

- Prior experience as a QA engineer in software organizations is required.

- Prior experience coding in any programming language is required. Java, Apex, C#, Python, JavaScript or - -Visual Basic would be nice.

- Prior experience working with relational databases is a plus.

- Prior experience with Salesforce is a plus.

- Prior experience with marketing automation tools (Marketo, Pardot) is a plus.

- Prior experience with QA automation tools (Selenium, Cinnamon, and others) is a plus.
