Senior Frontend Engineer – Javascript

The Role:
As a Senior Front-end Javascript Engineer, apply your passion for working with HTML, CSS, and Javascript to build our customer facing web-pages at Auction.com. Work in, lead and influence dynamic scrum teams on product feature design through release. Use Github, HipChat and Jira to collaborate. Be a critical part of our growing team!
Responsibilities:
Play a key role in the development of javascript software for new feature product developmen
Continuously improve our JS application to optimize performance and provide a positive user experience
Apply your expertise with application frameworks like AngularJS, Sass and/or Protractor to advance our application development
Play a lead role in continuously improving team productivity, code quality, tool and technology adoption
Requirements:
5+ years' experience in software development with a focus on javascript, HTML and CSS
Experience with client-side mvc frameworks like Angularjs, Ember.js, React, Backbone is also a must
Experience with build tools like grunt, gulp etc. is also required
Development of Object Oriented, performant JS application software for large sites is required
Demonstrated experience improving client-side performance characteristics is also a must
Nice-to-have experience:
Experience using SASS or any other CSS pre-processor
Working with a MVC application like Rails, Django, ASP.Net MVC, Spring MVExperience with Git
Experience improving the rendering performance of a site
Creating new features and help improve existing experiences
