Technical Product Manager - GENIVI Alliance
The GENIVI Alliance (www.genivi.org) develops open source software, standard interfaces, architecture and specifications for the automotive, in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) ecosystem. - Meet regularly with GENIVI technical leadership (e.g., PMO, SAT, Expert Group Leads) to extract and package technical progress into key messages
- Meet with GENIVI Marketing and Executive Director to plan communication activities about technical messages
- Write or develop initial content drafts of technical materials like whitepapers, website content, blogs, etc. and work with GENIVI marketing to finalize content
- Provide technical support for the dissemination of messaging on various selected channels to prospective adopters, media/analysts and other stakeholders
Required Skills
- Proven experience with embedded software (preferably in an automotive context)
- Multi-year experience collaborating with software architects and developers in a product development context

- Good project management skills resulting in timely and successful accomplishment of tasks and projects
- Ability to manage complex relationships and requirements from a mixture of leaders, members, and volunteers, and be able to drive consensus
