Job Description VMware, a pioneer in virtualization software for industry-standard computers, is seeking engineers with a proven track record for delivering high quality software products. The individual will be a Quality Engineer on new products in the End User Computing BU. This includes test design, implementation, execution, debugging, and maintenance of automated test cases as well as performing manual testing on an as needed basis. You will work closely with developers in design reviews and help ship products with very high quality.

Responsibilities:

- Develop test strategies, test plans, test cases which will then be automated using Java, C++ knowledge. Python would be helpful but not required
- Augment automation with functional black box testing as required
- Participate in enhancement of automated testing framework
- Review developer design and functional specifications and provide feedback during the development design phase
- Participate in defect resolution by identifying defects, assisting developers in reproducing defects, verifying defects are fixed, and identifying new regression test cases as needed
- Work on problems that require you to consider a wide variety of factors and use initiative and judgment to get them fixed

Requirements:

- 5+ yrs of relevant QA experience
- 5+ years of testing in Linux/UNIX and Windows environment, administration experience a plus
- 5+ years programming in a high level language, Java, C++
- BS/MS in computer science or equivalent
- Industry experience in writing automating tests Experience in developing test cases and test plans
- Strong knowledge of QA processes and methods

We are seeking a data warehouse consultant with expertise working within the Oracle enterprise business suite for this exciting opportunity:

Position title: Principal Data Warehouse Consultant
Location: Any city in the U.S.



As a Principal Data Warehouse Consultant you will be responsible for the installation of the company's software, mentoring of administrators, training of end users, and helping customers deploy their business intelligence solution. In addition, we help customers leverage their initial investment in the software by building custom business intelligence solutions using the company's products and some partner offerings. By gaining knowledge of the company's product and the market direction, consultants also contribute to product enhancements, building new service solutions, and helping the sales team with new customer opportunities.



Required skills:

•Minimum of 7 years working with Oracle enterprise business suite(EBS) and data warehouse projects is required. Minimum of 10 years professional experience in IT industry with at least 5 years data warehousing and architecting experience is required
•Oracle EBS Expert (60%-techno/40%-functional) in at least one of the Oracle Applications modules (i.e. General Ledger, AP, INV, etc.)
•Minimum of 3 years with Informatica and ETL processes (creating mappings, workflows and performance tuning) is required
•Minimum of 3 to 5 years of report design and creation experience with at least two of the following tools: Oracle Discoverer, Oracle Business Intelligence, Business Objects, or Cognos
•Demonstrates strong familiarity with modeling and reporting tools and how to use them during the analysis process
•Demonstrated Oracle/SQL skills, tuning (partitioning, aggregate tables, indexing, caching)
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle RDBMS, and UNIX / LINUX
•Experience working with customer Business-Line Managers and Subject-Matter Experts to gather business requirements and create solution designs
•Ability to work independently at client sites: engagement preparation, tracking to schedule / deliverables, troubleshooting, escalating issues, and communicating status
•Ability to mentor and train customers both formally and informally, including "front of room" training for medium sized groups
•Dynamic verbal communication skills with customers at all levels including IT staff, Business Users, and Executives
•Strong writing skills with email, design documentation, and technical papers
•Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training
•Ability to travel to customer locations for 4 day per week onsite engagements, 60 – 80% of the time (weekend travel is rarely required)
•Ability to travel with minimal notice
•Bachelors Degree, Computer Science or related field
•MBA or Masters in Information Systems a plus

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Work with HR clients and development team to deliver solutions that meet company strategic objectives in a timely fashion.

Work with the client to evaluate the various HR processes

Participate as team member on other company IT initiatives, driving where necessary their adoption within the HR systems area.

Ensure compliance with both internal policies and external regulatory requirements

Actively engage HR clients throughout the project life cycle, through timely communication and consistent completion of deliverables within communicated time frames.

Learn the client´s business processes and identify opportunities for improvement in process through technology enhancements.

Partner with HR Functional clients to identify/develop and document business requirements, ensuring that all enterprise stakeholders are identified and cared for.

Lead the requirements analysis, functional solution design, quality assurance, and solution deployment of technology-enabled solutions.

Develop comprehensive QA plans and coordinate thorough testing

Document specification, user manuals, procedures, and other project deliverables.

Coordinate change management activities with other IT functional areas.

Provide production support/problem resolution for employee customers.

Plan and manage small projects.

Education and Experience:

Experience with upgrades of major releases of ERP systems highly desired.

3-4 year´s experience with the design/development with Oracle HR.

3-4 year´s experience with SQL and report writing.

2-4 year´s experience with non-ERP HR systems is required.

Ability to write technical requirements.

Must be detail oriented and quality driven

Minimum bachelor´s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline.

Experience implementing or managing data privacy controls is a plus.

Experience with project management including project planning and execution, resource planning, scope control, risk and issue management.

Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.

This is a strategic position building and deploying world class systems to scale a rapidly growing company. The Systems Integration Engineer will partner with the Accellion Operations and Technical Services team to develop and integrate several keys systems within Accellion's operating systems based on mission critical needs. Key deliverable s include system development, installation, configuration, and scripting to deploy, automate and integrate disparate systems.

Responsibilities:

• Lead development of IT infrastructure
• Prepare a timeline schedule with milestones for development, testing, and delivery of each interface
• Integrate 3rd party providers API's into Accellion operations infrastructure
• Develop system APIs to facilitate data sharing throughout Accellion
• Effectively work and communicate with the Implementation Team
• Design, develop and maintain systems critical to Accellion internal operations
• Provide support to internal users as needed
• Develop and maintain current specifications for interfaces to be implemented
• Escalate issues discovered during interface development which may impact the delivery of projects

Requirements:

• Experience writing scripts (Python, Perl, PHP)
• Experience building web interfaces and hosted web services
• Excellent time management skills.
• Experience with database administration and setup (mysql, postgres)
• Experience with Directory Services for integration with multiple systems.
• Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (CentOS and Debian)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (both remote and in-person)
• Excellent problem solving skills

Education/Experience:

• 4+ years experience in application development or systems integration
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• Agile experience a plus
