IT Manager – 3-month project (Part time)
Are you an experienced IT manager but an entrepreneur at heart? Do you thrive in a fast moving environment where you can be both strategic and hands-on? If so, our start-up firm, Matches That Matter may be the place for you. This position is a key component of our launch next month and expansion plans.
Matches That Matter is an activity-based service geared to singles over 40. This is NOT an online dating service. We leverage Web 3.0 techniques with a high touch "white glove" relationship experience. Our approach, unique and low-pressure, focuses on assembling small groups of compatible men and women to meet, work together on community projects and get to know each other in a comfortable, natural way.
The Right Person will:
 Conduct an assessment and create a plan to improve the current IT and telecommunication configuration, focused on efficiency, effectiveness and ease of use.
 Create dashboard and generate reports within Salesforce.
 Develop a robust network architecture plan that scales and is remotely accessible
 Manage Salesforce customization project through the final development, implementation, automation and training.
 Provide hands-on troubleshooting where needed, and customization support.
 Manage outside vendors including Salesforce.com, hosting services, programmers, telecommunications, hardware, etc.
 Install, configure, and maintain MAC desktop computers, file servers, ethernet cabling, and other related equipment, devices, and software applications as the system grows.
The Right Person will have:
• A mix of experience in both high-level business development strategy and hands-on execution and technical skills.
• Passion for creating all the systems and processes for a department/function from the ground up
• 4 years MAC network support experience
• Experience with CRM workflows
We launch in 5 weeks. Come join our team of 6 bright, energetic, high performers as we build the Bay Area component of our service. The national launch will begin in 12 months.
This project will be compensated primarily in the form of equity. All expenses will be generously reimbursed. In an effort to be flexible and engage highly qualified individuals, we also offer part-time work (4 days/week) which will also be compensated with an ownership stake in the company.
