The Sage Group is seeking a Business Analyst/Marketing Reporting Analyst to work for a large multinational company that is a leading innovator and designer of design/AutoCad software in San Francisco, CA. This person will be responsible for working with the Marketing Operations team to help design and track on marketing spend - by industry, region as well as globally.
Responsibilities Include
- Work across teams to define and document requirements including business architecture diagrams, use case definitions and as-is/to-be process definitions.
- Ability to understand and make sure dashboard is being used, and if why not, you can review data quality issues.
- Work closely with marketing operations business teams to become a functional expert in key channel sales processes and related solutions needs.
- Identify and scope master data, reporting , access and provisioning requirements.
- Ability to spec out what the dashboard needs to look like - in order to hand it off to someone else to build.
- Work with the project manager during preparation and execution of User Acceptance testing; including key input to use cases and test scripts.
- Make sure you can tell the story from end to end - with data!
Skills Preferred
- 3-5 years deep data experience within the software industry preferably in consumer sales/channel/retail
- Analytical capabilities needed to synthesize large amounts of data into a clear story and/or assess business process improvement opportunities
- Experience with Sql and Qlikview
- Excellent teamwork skills and ability to influence others
