Title: Software Test Engineer
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: Contract
Software Test Engineer will be working with next generation data center products.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, execute and debug information technology test cases and scripts.
- Validate and document completion of testing and development.
- Automate test cases, find bugs, defects, verify fixes and regressions.
Required:
- 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Experience with Server Management Software preferred
- Strong analytical skill and some customer escalation experience to design test plan against functional, technical specification, and use-case.
- Experience with system management software testing and test design.
- Experience with data center virtualization will definitely help you for this data center product test job.
- Sound knowledge and experience to automate test cases while doing manual test execution.
- Help test coverage with function and regression test.
- Good communication skill and a team player that will work with development team to address issues
- Prior experience with virtualization product testing is definitely a plus.
