We are searching for an extraordinary software developer who will work and thrive in a small team developing C++ software for applications related to 3D ⁄ 4D visualization, modeling, and analysis for the earth sciences. The position involves developing software for working with oil field and geographic data from a variety of databases (such as Oracle and SQL Server) and integrating this software with our existing suite. The successful applicant will also have the ability to program on Windows� and ⁄ or Linux� platforms, and the ability to interface to and utilize C++ classes in our own suite of libraries.
The primary focus of this position is to develop C++ applications and plug-ins on a wide range of 3D ⁄ 4D earth science visualization projects.
Requirements:
Excellent C++ programming skills required
3+ years experience
STL and Boost experience highly desirable
Experience working on Windows and ⁄ or Unix ⁄ Linux platforms
BS in Computer Science or equivalent
Strong mathematics background
Some background in the earth sciences or engineering is preferred
Solid communication ⁄ personal interaction skills
