Technical Sales Representative
Are you a rock star Sales Engineer who is passionate about technology and can sell? You understand software, SaaS, and IaaS, and you can advise customers how to use your products to improve their lives. We�re looking for an experienced sales engineer who can answer front line technical questions and close a high volume of mid-size deals.
Responsibilities
� Driving conversion of trials and evaluations into subscriptions.
� Providing pre-sales technical knowledge to ensure customers are successful selecting and implementing the right products and features.
� Communicating with customers via their preferred virtual channels (phone, skype, email, IM) with occasional face-to-face interactions.
� Being the internal champion on technical and business issues for customers.
� Working with marketing on new demand generation campaigns.
Qualifications
� 2-5 years technical sales experience preferable software development or infrastructure related products.
� Knowledge of web/mobile software development lifecycle.
� Background in software, preferably a CS or IT bachelor�s degree.
� Great communications skills, both written and oral.
� Ability to build strong relationships and close deals using email, web collaboration tools and phone.
You�ll be working with our sales team in our San Francisco office.
