Savioke (pronounced "savvy oak") is creating autonomous robot helpers for the services industry. We are passionate about delivering easy-to-use yet sophisticated robots that can help people. We aim to improve the lives of people by developing and deploying robotic technology in human environments - the places people live and work.
Savioke is looking for a senior Electrical Engineer to help design a new robot.
Job responsibilities include:
� defining the production hardware system architecture
� designing multilayer PCBs with functions including power regulation, motor control, sensor interfaces, and communications
� investigating and incorporating new sensors
Must have:
� the ability to manage BoMs and create accurate and timely orders to meet rapid development cycles
� experience with a wide range of electronics components, and the ability to choose reliable suppliers and avoid notoriously unreliable parts
� familiarity with i2c, spi, ethernet, RS232, RS422, RS485 devices
� experience designing motor controllers
� experience bringing a product to market
� the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
Nice to have:
� mechanical experience
� project management experience
� interest and experience with robotics
