Position Description:


The Backup Solutions Engineer will be responsible for crafting and deploying innovative backup solutions for customers worldwide. In this highly visible role you will be working with System administrators and MySQL DBAs at leading companies around the world to develop backup and recovery solutions.



Qualifications:


The Ideal Candidate will have the following qualifications…


• System administrator or DBA with 2-3 years of backup and recovery experience
• Experience with backing up databases in clusters and high availability configurations.
• Very strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Passion for working with Customers and Solving backup problems
• Storage and filesystem administration experience is preferred
• Software development experience (Perl, PHP) is a bonus
