OTM Software Professionals is seeking a software engineer with strong distributed systems expertise for the Operations Solutions team for Fortune 500 Client Company. Pay rate $60-70/hour DOE.

As part of the Operations Solutions' development team, you will develop solutions for internal partners and/or participate in the integration of innovative solution to the Operations product. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
* Design and develop integrated solutions for the next-generation system's performance monitoring and capacity management infrastructure for virtualization products.
* Design and Implement exceptional User Interfaces to help users understand and manage virtual interface environment.
* Understand complex system architectures and design creative solutions to challenging problems.
* Take technical ownership of key components and work through performance and scalability issues.
* Work with QA engineers to ensure software testability, quality, scalability and stability.
* Work with documentation team to ensure quality documentation of product and API's.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science - Masters preferred.
* 5+ years industry experience developing scalable distributed systems in Java or C++.
* Experience with Javascript, DHTML, HTML 5, and CSS
* Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with customers as needed.
* Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Highly Desired Skills
* Experience creating usable, feature-rich and scalable UI's
*Knowledge of GWT and/or Flex desired
* Experience with Spring Framework and Spring MVC desired
* Highly skilled in object-oriented design methodology and techniques.
* Proven track record delivering quality enterprise-class software.
* Experience building systems-management and monitoring applications - preferred.
Nice to have
* Experience with scale-out architectures such as Gemfire, Cassandra, Hadoop – big plus.
* Understanding of system architecture, including processors, memory management, storage and networking.
