Job Title:- User Experience Designer

We are looking for a smart and energetic web user experience designer that has a passion for creating amazing applications and products. This individual will help build out our customer service applications portfolio. The portfolio currently consists of both agent and end-customer facing applications and tools. The ideal candidate will have had experience working in a customer service capacity with a consumer-centric product company. More importantly, the candidate should have awesome web UX/UI design skills with a blend of both industry best practices and a unique creative eye.

The role:

- Quickly establish a core understanding of the business and customer service strategy.
- Rapidly iterate on multiple designs leveraging the latest design/development tools.
- AB test designs to arrive at the optimal solution via empirical results.
- Work collaboratively with cross functional groups within the company to understand business needs and requirements.
- Correlate design decisions back to tangible and intangible business benefits.
- Partner with engineering teams to bring concepts to reality.

What we're looking for:

- 5+ years of experience designing amazing web applications.
- A foundational understanding of web technologies and standards.
- A great portfolio that showcases deep visual and interactive design skills.
- Business analytical skills that help guide design decisions.
- Strong communication skills to clearly articulate and evangelize concepts.
- Experience across the entire product development lifecycle and have lived through multiple launches (experience with international launches a plus).
- Proficiency with design tools (e.g. Photoshop, Fireworks, Visio, Omnigraffle, Dreamweaver, Illustrator).
- BA/BS in fine arts, graphic arts/design, human computer interaction (HCI) or related field.

Location:- Santa Clara, CA
Duration:- 6 Months (Contract to hire)
