MECHANICAL ENGINEERING MANAGER
DONGGUAN, CHINA

As the Engineering Manager of Acorn's China team,
You will:
• Live & work in Dongguan
• Travel periodically to USA, other clients & supplier sites.
• Manage/Lead/Mentor & Train the Acorn China Engineering Team in Designing/Developing a variety of products (Concept through Production).
• Work with the brightest/most dedicated/accomplished & experienced Engineering Teams.
• Represent Acorn to Clients/Suppliers & Other Key Groups.

For this job, you'll need:

• BSME & 8+ years of M.E. Design experience.
• Hands-On Technical Project Management of at least 3 Full Product Development Cycles from (Conception to Production) of High Volume tooled Products.
• Good Working knowledge of Engineering Analyses, E/M Design & Common Manufacturing Processes.
• 3+ yrs. hands-on management of a small M.E. Design Team.
• Current Professional Work Experience IN CHINA Managing Office/Staff/Projects.
• Excellent Interpersonal & People Management Skills.
• Good Command of English Language (Verbal & Written).
• Mandarin is a huge plus!
• Proficiency in Pro/E & SolidWorks
• Experience with Project Management Tools (MS Project, etc.)
• Work experience in Smaller Companies, would be great!
