Title: Project Manager
Duration: 6+ months
Location: San Jose, CA
Experis IT Professional is looking for a Project Manager with the below requirements:
Responsibilities:
(50%) Drive project management for the Business Capabilities Framework enhancement project, including:
- Schedule/task management in MS Project
- Leading project team meetings (e.g. scheduling, facilitation, notes, and action follow-up)
- Status reporting
- Collaboration with project team members
- Communication to director-level staff
- Creation of PowerPoint presentations as needed to convey status, change requests, and other project content
- Maintaining, updating, and uploading documents into project document repository
(30%) Oversee the Business Capabilities Framework business process by:
- Ensuring process actors execute their tasks per the schedule and follow process documentation for roles/responsibilities
- Schedule/task management in MS Project
- Status reporting
- Creation of PowerPoint presentations as needed to convey status, change requests, and other process content
- Updating process documentation with approved changes
(15%) Lead team of stakeholder liaisons to coordinate with stakeholders on business process execution
(5%) Act as a stakeholder liaison for multiple stakeholder teams (i.e. collaborate to ensure we receive the needed data from stakeholders and bring back results of our analysis to stakeholders.)
Required Skills:
- Degree and 5+ years of experience managing projects.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, including experience communicating and influencing with Manager and Director level staff
- Strong PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project, Excel, and Visio skills
- PMI project management taxonomy and processes
- PMP certification preferred
- Knowledge of business architecture principles is preferred
