OTM Software Professionals is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager with a proven track record of focusing on driving cross functional feature development and product release in the system-level software space for a Fortune 500 Client Company.

**Due to the nature of the interview process, local candidates with local experience only please**

Responsibilities:
•Manage product release programs in the area of install, deploy and upgrade of major cloud computing virtualization operating system components.
•Solid knowledge on x86 architecture as well as Windows OSes and application virtualization
•Understand virtualization technology and server management technology and help product teams prioritize the issues on a daily basis.
•Track record of leading development efforts on successful product releases
•Coordinate cross functional initiatives, proactively identifying dependencies and driving issues to resolution
•Work effectively with cross functional groups to propose and manage creative solutions to improving products and customer satisfaction
•Effectively propose and manage schedules, budgets and resources
•Execute programs within budget, on-schedule, and to excellent quality standards
•Invent and manage software product life cycle processes to facilitate high quality product and program releases
•Interface with directors, product managers, product marketing, support, sales, and customers to assist planning and insure high customer satisfaction
•Participate in setting strategy and goals, translating the goals into day-to-day activities and focuses for the team


Requirements:
•Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
•5+ years of experience in software engineering and project/program/development management
•Experienced in software development and project/ program management fundamentals (software development life cycles and quality processes, scope, cost, schedule, deliverables, change management, risk management)
•Strong system software background
•Excellent organizational and communication skills
•Excellent teamwork and leadership skills
•Passion for light weight, effective processes and methodologies that will improve the productivity of the organization
•Experienced with effective resource management
•Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently in a fast paced environment
•Strong software engineering background with a passion for delivering high-performance, quality software
