[KITlist-Tech] API Automation Engineer (Mountain View, CA)

One of our Fortune 500 clients is looking for a API Automation Engineer for a contract position. This will be based at their Mountain View location.

Duties
Ability to write test automation scripts at a set pace, that will help enhance the test coverage Ability to work independently as a part of the Test Automation team with minimal guidance Develops documents, maintains test automation artifacts and environment simulation tools and collects basic SQA metrics.
Ability to debug and step through a major component of the product being tested.


Skills
- Expertise on concepts of API Tests/ Webservices calls
- Expertise coding skills in Python/Java including knowledge of data structures
- Expertise of python unittest framework
- Knowledge of JSON/XML
- Knowledge of OOP concepts
- Understanding of Automation Test framework design concepts
- Troubleshooting skills for analyzing api logs for failure analysis
- Working knowledge of Perforce, IDE e.g. eclipse

Education Bachelor���s Degree or equivalent experience.
