Nominum is seeking an Information Systems Engineer II (Systems Adminstrator)
Location: Redwood City, San Francisco, East Bay (CA) opportunities
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Information Systems Engineer II will be responsible for an array of duties, some are outlined below, and a member of a unique operations team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
� Server Support
� Manage assigned projects
� Handle end users issues, onsite and remote
� Assist other IT team members with project completion
� Take part in the weekly on-call rotation
� Communicate status of projects and issues on a regular, or as needed, basis
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
� 3-5 years of Linux or more, RedHat preferred, any other Unix a plus
� Solaris deployment is a significant plus
� Networking
o CCNA or equivalent knowledge
� Scripting
o Shell and Python experience a must!
o Ruby as applied to puppet a plus.
� Virtualization
o Openstack preferred
� VMWare, KVM will be considered
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
BA/BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field a plus
