OTM seeking a Tools Developer for Release Engineering to expand and maintain continuous build system for an excellent start up with cutting edge technology and venture backing. Salary negotiable DOE.
Responsibilities:
� Work cross-functionally to define requirements for the Code Management, Product Build and Release Processes.
� Architect, document and develop extensions to our automated integration/build/test and release process to meet the needs of a growing product line.
� Manage release and development branches in our Source Code Management System. Maintain archive of build artifacts.
� Maintain and scale build infrastructure. Define and report key metrics for build activity and scalability.
Skills Required:
� Strong experience with scripting languages such as Python/Django (preferred), Ruby/Rails, Perl, Java, PHP, etc., and with build oriented languages such as Ant and Make.
� Experience with implementation and administration of build automation tools such as Buildbot (preferred), Jenkins/Hudson, etc.
� Familiarity with maintaining and configuring distributed Source Code Management systems - Mercurial preferred.
� Strong experience managing virtual machines using vCenter and vSphere.
� Experience with the installation, set-up, and management of Linux and windows server VMs
� Excellent oral, analytical and critical thinking skills.
� At least 4 years experience in software engineering, release engineering, and/or configuration management.
� BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
