Omnicell's target users include doctors, nurses, pharmacy technicians, pharmacists in hospital contexts. For too long, this special user group has been under-served by hard-to-use software. Our next generation products reverse this trend through dynamic user interfaces that function as solidly as they look beautiful. Join our team as a Senior Software Engineer who owns presentation layer development for our next-gen GUI's. While this team member should be well versed in .Net development, this role will focus on the WPF integration portion of our software. The Senior Software Engineer is instrumental in our software design and development efforts.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with software developers, business stakeholders, and UX designers to implement world-class GUI's that are functionally solid and visually beautiful
- Integrate UX designs with WPF code
- Manipulate and write custom XAML code
- Develop and test software solutions that meet business requirements
- Design and implement clickable prototypes for rapid proof-of-concept cycles
- Proactively participate in a dynamic Agile community

Required Skills and Knowledge:
- B.S. degree in computer science or similar major
- 5+ years developing software leveraging Microsoft WPF
- Expert level understanding of C# and .Net
- 5+ years experience in software development and design
- 5+ years experience working in a development team environment
- 5+ years experience with Microsoft .Net library
- Expert level understanding of object-oriented software design and programming
- Working knowledge of Agile development processes like Scrum and Kanban

Preferred Skills and Knowledge:
- Experience in supply chain or inventory management
- Experience with creating localizable applications
- Experience with creating touch screen applications
