IT Infrastructure Project Manager
We are looking for a Project Manager Contractor for a high technology company in the enterprise software, hardware and services space. The Project Manager will own the project management of a broad set of IT infrastructure program activities. The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of project deliverables within the specified constraints of time and cost while managing the governance, scope, costing, scheduling, communications, planning tracking, terms conditions and risk.
This is a 8 month, 40 hours per week role with the flexibility of working from anywhere in the US. This is a w-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions' employee.
Responsibilities
� Defines and manages project requirements, objectives and activities to achieve both strategic and tactical business goals.
� Defines the roles and responsibilities of the project team, forecasts and establishes the project team and ensures that the team understands the tasks
� Develops project plans and leads different stakeholder and teams in plan execution
� Performs risk assessment, manages project risk and comes up with risk mitigation plans
� Identifies opportunities to increase revenue and margins and adjusts project baseline accordingly
� Oversees multiple concurrent tasks and projects performed on a interdepartmental basis and within approved budgets.
� Conducts weekly team and status meetings and reports status and tracking support to management and executives.
Requirements:
� 5-8 years experience in managing IT infrastructure projects in a project management role
� Extensive experience with project management tools and methodologies
� PMP/ITIL certification is a must
� Strong coordination, multi-tasking and organizational skills
� Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
� Excellent written and spoken interpersonal communication skills
� Ability to take non structured task list and build into trackable project plan
� Pro-active. Ability to take ideas/feedback and turn into action.
� BS Degree
