We are looking for a Technical Project Manager Contractor for a high technology company in the enterprise software, hardware and services space. The Technical Project Manager will own the project management of infrastructure programs. The Project Manager will support the full project life cycle, assess requirements, define solutions while working with internal/external SMEs and to manage the execution following the established schedule..
This is a 3-6 months (with possible extensions), 35 hours per week role at client site located in Jersey City, New Jersey. This is a w-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions' employee.
Responsibilities
� Support full project life cycle, Define solutions, Work with SMEs and manage the project execution following the established schedule.
� Defines and manages project requirements, objectives and activities to achieve both strategic and tactical business goals.
� Defines the roles and responsibilities of the project team, forecasts and establishes the project team and ensures that the team understands the tasks
� Develops project plans and leads different stakeholder and teams in plan execution
� Performs risk assessment, manages project risk and comes up with risk mitigation plans
� Understand, question and validate the technical solutions proposed by SMEs.
� Oversees multiple concurrent tasks and projects performed on a interdepartmental basis and within approved budgets.
� Conducts weekly team and status meetings and reports status and tracking support to management and executives.
Requirements:
� 5-8 years experience in managing technical projects in a project manager role
� Good understanding of general networking, PC/Servers, Citrix and SharePoint applications
� Extensive experience with project management tools and methodologies
� PMP/ITIL certification is a must
� Experience of implementing technical projects in financial institutions is highly desirable
� Strong coordination, multi-tasking and organizational skills
� Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
� Excellent written and spoken interpersonal communication skills
� Some travel may be needed.
� BS Degree
