Position Overview:
Talent Impact is seeking a full time Mobile QA Test Engineer who will ensure adequate testing is performed on the rapid development of software and configuration changes within the Mobile work stream. Working within a designated project team, candidates will be required to certify that a sufficient level of test coverage has been reached prior to delivery of code into the production environment. Using an iterative approach they will incorporate agile testing techniques to demonstrate a satisfactory level of quality has been achieved.
Responsibilities:
- Provide test results with supporting data to facilitate go live decision-making.
- Ensure test tools are used and maintained to support the overall test strategy.
- Responsible for the alignment and improvements of the Test Toolset.
- Use (and refine) existing agile based testing approach to support the speedy delivery of developed code into the live environment.
- Work with developers/technical experts to gain the required level of technical knowledge to conduct efficient testing.
- Plan and execute the testing required to demonstrate a correct level of quality has been achieved on newly developed functionality.
- Drive transition towards Automated Test capabilities where practicable.
- Work with the project team to identify and facilitate the delivery of test environment and test data requirements.
- Create and review suite of test documents and processes making suggestions on improvements.
- Fully manages and improves the defect lifecycle from discovery and documentation to resolution and regression.
Requirements:
- Mobile front end (UX) testing experience. Experience across both native and hybrid (native/html5) Mobile applications preferred
- Proven problem solving skills and is adaptable/flexible in an ever changing environment.
- Experience of automated/performance testing tools and concepts.
- Experience with API level testing using tools such as SOAP.
- Experience with test tools in particular test management and defect management tools
- Experience in providing input into design reviews on acceptance test criteria.
- Ability to identify gaps in the available information required to understand a problem or situation and devising means of remedying such gaps.
- Proven experience of the ability to communicate with business and technical personnel.
- Confident when dealing with multiple projects and changing and conflicting priorities
- A pro-active, target driven team worker who is able to work on his or her own initiative.
- Working knowledge of Agile (Scum) Test Techniques.
- Sports Betting knowledge desired.
