Responsibilities
� Full Stack Developer who can work across the Front-end through Server Side in close
collaboration with Software Developers and System Engineers to build and shape cloud and web
offerings.
� Passion to build an innovative product using cutting edge tools and technologies in a fast paced
environment
� Design and build APIs to extend platform in an Agile and Test Driven Development Environment
� Provide thought leadership, strategy and lead innovation by exploring, investigating,
recommending, benchmarking and implementing technologies for APIs.
� Own development tools, processes, quality/performance for development work.
� Work with world class engineering teams for integration of APIs with backend systems.
� Effectively communicate and report critical issues to leadership team and management in a timely
manner
� 100% Hands-on coding
Required Skills:
� 5+ years of experience in software development.
� Full Stack Developer who is highly proficient in Java (1.6 or later), JUnit, Database and Spring
Core with strong experience in Agile Scrum environment.
� Experience developing web applications ( expertise in at least 7 of these ) - Spring MVC,
RESTful, SOAP, Jersey, RestEasy, Jackson, Web Services, Apache CXF, Axis2, Play,
AngularJS, Akka, Java NIO, Camel, ESB, AWS, Cloud Computing, SOA
� Experience working with GIT and Maven
� Experience with front-end technologies (expertise in at least 2 of these) - Javascript, HTML5,
AngularJS, BackboneJS, EmberJS, jQuery, KnockoutJS
� Solid understanding of Linux or Unix operating systems (expertise in at least 1) - Bash, Perl,
PHP, Python
� Experience with database tools (expertise in at least 1) - JPA, Hibernate, TopLink, iBatis, JDBC
� Good knowledge of Design Patterns, data structures and algorithms
� Quick Learner with ability to Multi-task and learn in a fast paced environment
Desired Skills:
� Experience with Test Driven Development is a big plus
� Experience with any of these frameworks or programming paradigms: Play, Akka, Vaadin, Vordel/
Apigee, Reactive Programming, Java NIO
� Experience with API Development
� Experience working in a startup environment using open source technologies
� Contributor to forums such as Stack Overflow
� Experience in architecting and building large scale systems requiring high availability and high
scalability.
