[KITlist-Tech] Senior Hadoop and J2EE Engineer (El Segundo, CA)

Requirements:

Minimum 6 years of experience developing J2EE applications
At least 2 years' experience in working hands-on with MapReduce, Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS), HBase
At least 3 years' experience in development, with JAVA and scripting languages
Knowledge in SOAP and REST based web services.
Knowledge in XSD, WSDL, JAXB.
Strong knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design methodologies
Strong knowledge in testing methods and processes
Strong documentation skills (interface description, requirements, design and test procedures)
Comfortable with software development processes and tools.
Comfortable with Linux development environment
Ability to write shell scripts a plus
Must be a self starter who is able to define, clarify the unknowns.
Must be able to work in and able to adapt to changing requirements and schedules
Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving and analytical skills.
Must be team player
Must be able to work off hours to work with offshore team
